The distribution of inputs for the 2023/2024 farming season has been concluded countrywide.
Agriculture Minister Reuben Mtolo has disclosed that the distribution of inputs has hit 100 percent in all provinces country wide.
Mr. Mtolo disclosed this in parliament today.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mtolo has assured the nation that the E-voucher System is best tailored to enable farmers to accessing seed inputs of their choice, a situation critical to crop diversification.
He also disclosed that the E-voucher System has been fully implemented in Lusaka and Central Provinces as the two areas are technologically advanced.
Mr. Mtolo was responding to Mkushi North Member of Parliament Christopher Chibuye.
Mr. Chibuye wanted to know whether government is aware that some farmers under the E-voucher system in Mkushi North Parliamentary Constituency have not accessed farming inputs.
