Defender Frankie Chisenga Musonda returned from injury to feature for Ayr United in a Scottish Cup match.
Musonda started Ayr United’s 2-1 extra time victory over Peterhead and advanced to the fourth round.
The 26 year has struggled with a niggling injury this season and had made 7 appearances for Ayr United this season in all competitions.
He has missed Zambia’s past four matches [October & November international break].
His returns is a timely boast for the Chipolopolo ahead of the African Cup of Nations in January 2024 in Ivory Coast.
Since making his debut in 2022, Musonda has already won 10 caps.
Zambia is in Group H with DR Congo, Tanzania and Morocco.
