President Hakainde Hichilema has encouraged the Zambia National Service -ZNS- to use existing facilities to produce Mealie Meal while organising new ones.
The Head of state said this when he visited Kasama Shoprite to check on the ZNS Mealie Meal.
The President also bought bags of mealie meal for some residents.
The head of state also encouraged ZNS to sell Maize brands to the locals.
President Hichilema was welcomed by jubilant crowds in Kasama town.
The residents lined up along the road from the airport into town.
