Vubwi Council Commissions CDF Projects

Vubwi Town Council in the Eastern Province has commissioned earth moving equipment, conference hall and community radio station worth 4.7 million Kwacha.

The Conference hall was built using Local Government equalization funds while the other projects were bought and constructed using Constituency Development Fund – CDF.

Speaking during the commissioning of the projects, Eastern Province Permanent Secretary Paul Thole said the projects in Vubwi are a testimony to what can be achieved with sound government policies and prudent utilization of resources.

And Chief Pembamoyo is impressed with the government’s positive response to the development needs of the people of Vubwi.

Meanwhile, Vubwi Member of Parliament Ackleo Banda appealed to the people in the area to put aside their political differences and work towards achieving development.

Vubwi Council Chairperson Vincent Mwale says the continued increase of the CDF is transforming Vubwi.
